Animal Acrylic Painting
Something I’ve been doing this past year is creating BOLD COLOR ACRYLIC PAINTINGS for animals. They are a little bit wild color wise, and less expensive than the oil painting, mainly because they are less time consuming and they are painted on a less expensive support. You see a layer of acrylic paint dries in about 15 to 20 minutes, where as an oil paint layer will take 7-14 days. Also, I do not use a wood or aluminum panel (this cost alone is averaging $80 to $150 just for one archival panel) but a regular canvas board or canvas support. I do any type of animal: dogs, cats, and horses, etc.
Please look at the following dogs, “Honey” ; and “Emeka, Astraya, and Coco” in these two mediums.
These are acrylic BOLD paintings (wild/bright colors)
For one ANIMAL in bold acrylic colors (a bit on the wild side), this retails and is on a canvas board or canvas (artist’s choice) for $650 plus NMGRT (at 6.1875% tax rate) or $690.22. Shipping is extra (range about $200 — you see, I double box it for protection — for any of these sizes: : 14” x 11”, 12” x 16”, 18” x 14” or a 20 “ x 16” size.
I will consider painting a bigger painting, like a 30” x 40” ($1,068.75) say for a horse plus about $600 for shipping, if any. Contact me for a current estimate. At this time I have no equine references to show you — I use to paint them three decades ago. I know them having grown up in the Thoroughbred industry — and Quater and Arabian horses are welcomed too.
For “Family and Friends” pricing you get a 10% Discount Shipping is extra, as stated above. A 50% deposit up front is required before painting starts, and the remainder (plus any shipping) is due upon completion.
